APAC at the latest issue of Diorama journal

APAC Labs Researchers Valentina Vassallo, Antonia Agapiou and Sorin Hermon recently co-authored an article in Diorama, a bi-monthly magazine recognised as a leading source of news, analysis, commentary and reviews on arts and culture in Cyprus and abroad.

In the article the authors discuss safeguarding our Cultural Heritage and the role of project ANCHISE, a European funded project, in combating illicit trafficking. ANCHISE, a ground breaking initiative, aims to address the challenge of illicit trafficking of cultural heritage by offering sustainable solutions to protect Europe's cultural treasures, from antiquities to modern cultural goods.

The project’s innovative approach lies in its ambition to become the go-to platform for practitioners involved in cultural heritage protection. By integrating cutting-edge technologies with insights from humanities research, the work carried out by the APAC Labs in ANCHISE offers solutions that not only combat illicit trafficking but also deliver high added value and positive cost-benefit analysis.
