Cyprus Dendrochronology Laboratory (CDL) in Troodos

Over the past few weeks, the Cyprus Dendrochronology Laboratory (CDL) at APAC Labs, in collaboration with researchers from Cornell University and the University of Georgia, have been engaged in field activities at sites throughout Cyprus.

This fieldwork included a variety of different tasks; the most important of which was the collection of dendrochronological samples from significant Byzantine and Medieval monuments, as well as the forests of the Troodos.

Our colleagues at the Department of Antiquities and the Department of Forests, as partners of the CDL, were actively engaged in these fieldwork activities.
