APAC collaborator Erato Hadjisavva: The first woman rector of ASKT after 186 years of operation
In addition to cutting-edge research in the use of science and technology to study the past, APAC Labs are also dedicated and engaged with the work of contemporary art and artists.
Among our close collaborators, artist and Associate Professor in Fine Arts (ASFA), Erato Hadjisavva was elected Dean of Athens School of Fine Arts, the oldest and most prestigious School of Fine Arts in Greece. She is the first female Dean of the ASFA and the first Cypriot to be elected as a professor at the same school.
Her art work and practice deal with the visual renegotiation and three-dimensional reformulation of important Renaissance works on the view of beauty. She collaborates with APAC Labs in the interpretation of our study of Titian's Ecce Homo painting towards the recreation of the hidden portrait of an unknown man which was thoroughly mapped and analyzed by our researchers.
Congratulations Erato!
