APAC at the EUROPEANATECH 2023 Conference: Explore, Engage, Experience: Cultural Heritage in the Data Space and Beyond

Last week, APAC Researcher Andriana Nikolaidou presented her work at the EUROPEANATECH 2023: Explore, Engage, Experience: Cultural Heritage in the Data Space and Beyond. The conference was focused on technology in digital cultural heritage and delved into discussions about the impact of topics like artificial intelligence (AI) and 3D technology on the cultural heritage sector.

During the conference, she presented an ontology-based documentation framework for capturing, through interactive documentation, artist’s studios. In order to promote a shared understanding and long-term preservation of artists’ studios, the ontology implements the CIDOC-Conceptual Reference Model and Art & Architecture Thesaurus structured vocabulary created by the Getty Research Institute.
