APAC Labs researcher Nicolette Levy was named a Summer Research Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America’s 2024 Mentoring Program

This past summer, PhD student and APAC Labs researcher Nicolette Levy was named a Summer Research Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America’s 2024 Mentoring Program.

Along with her cohort of other PhD students, Nicolette worked closely with early- and mid-career faculty mentors working in the field of Medieval Studies. She gained valuable writing and presenting skills, and workshopped her developing dissertation proposal with her cohort and mentors.

The MAA Summer Research Workshop culminated in a series of presentations from the entire cohort on projects ranging from the study of monastic land charters in medieval England to Nicolette’s study of artists and their materials in Latin Cyprus.
