Luciarita joined the Cyprus Institute as a PhD student in October 2021 after receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Classics (2016) from the University of Naples Federico II, a Master's Degree in Classical Archaeology (2018) from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master's Degree in Arts and Culture Management from the Rome Business School. During her studies, she has participated twice in the Erasmus Project (the University of Strasbourg in 2016 and the University of Edinburgh in 2017), also she has worked at the "Lucanie antique: archéologie et patrimoine" project and has participated in the excavation of Monte Torretta di Pietragalla, a French-German archaeological project in Southern Italy (2017-2018). She spent almost one year (2019-2020) in Turkey as a volunteer for the European Voluntary Service in Education, Culture and Human Rights and as an intern of the Digital Repository office at the BIAA (the British Institute at Ankara), where she became more engaged in protecting, safeguarding and promoting Cultural Heritage.


Research interests: Classical Archaeology, Digital Heritage, Preservation and Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Archaeological sites, Cultural Heritage Management
