Ropertos received an Associate degree of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering from TCI institute in New York City, a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Technology in Budapest, Hungary and an MSc in Multimedia Applications and Virtual Environments from Sussex University, UK. His final thesis was entitled “West Pier – 3D visualization of the reconstruction” a rich multimedia production of the West Pier located in Brighton, UK. During his studies at Sussex University, he participated in various cultural heritage reconstructions including a 3D architectural reconstruction prototype of the Santa Chiara Chapel and Church, the altars for the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and photogrammetric techniques for digitizing artifacts. Ropertos has developed multidisciplinary skills in multimedia applications, advanced computer graphics, computational photography and web technologies. He has experience in 3D graphics and multimedia content for the purpose of digital heritage, data acquisition, creation of design specification, architectural reconstruction, visualization, post production, testing, presentation and publishing.
