Silvia Florindi received a BA in Cultural Heritage and a MA in Cultural Heritage: Archaeology and History of Art at the University of Chieti (Italy) and she obtained a further Postgraduate degree at the Specialisation School in Archaeology - Prehistoric curriculum, at the University of Pisa (Italy). In 2020 she joined the Cyprus Institute as a Research Assistant and PhD student, in co-tutoring with the Italian Institute of Prehistory and Protohistory (IIPP). Her research project is focused on the use of 3D modelling, scientific visualisation, and use-wear analysis for the study of Palaeolithic Ground Stone Tools in Eurasia. She also joined during the years several projects regarding plant use in the Palaeolithic and the analysis of Neanderthal wooden tools.
